March 28, 2011 Five weeks old

Today was a BIG day for the puppies!! They are five weeks old. They have graduated to dry puppy food, and to the great outdoors during the day. They LOVED being outside. When they weren't eating, or playing with Mom and Aunt Scooter, they were sleeping or adventuring around the yard with new smells, toys and leaves to chase!! We will be accomplishing less, as it is very entertaining to sit on the sidewalk and let the puppies play, and chew and cuddle with us!! The next three weeks will be an incredible time as we watch them grow and develop their individual personalities and characteristics!! Enjoy the photo and video......

March 21, 2011 Four Weeks old

Jetta will be very happy to start the weaning process soon,
as they have grown a full set of SHARP teeth!!!!

A basket full of puppies....
Their weights range from 3 1/2 lbs to 5 1/2 lbs!!

Big Day of "firsts" for the puppies!!!!! They ventured outside for a little sun and playtime. Also got their first taste of puppy food, moistened with water. They ate until their tummies were very full!!! And LOVED it!!

March 14, 2011 Three weeks old

Puppies are three weeks old, walking pretty well, eyes open, growling and barking.........too much fun!!
Smallest weighs 3 pounds,
largest weighs 4 pounds.

Puppies are starting to get up on all four legs and try to move around!! Their eyes are just beginning to open. They have a new larger home that's nice and warm. The average weight is 2 1/2 pounds (they were between 11 and 15 ounces at birth)

March 3, 2011 One and a half weeks old

Puppies are growing!!!
They are trying to stand on all four legs,
however, the coordination isn't there yet!!!!
